Founded in 1880 by Honoré Fillioux, the House of Filioux is now run by his great-grandson Pascal. The famous Domaine de La Pouyade - their 63-acre family vineyards - lie in the ‘golden triangle’ of Grande Champagne, between the Angeac-Champagne, Juillac-le-Coq and Verrières communes.

Palate 👅: Toffee. Vanilla. Peach. Pastry crust. Orange zest. Honey. Heavy & silky mouthfeel.


Finish 🏁: Baking spices. Oak. Orange zest. Medium-long in length.


Overall thoughts?  This is a quality cognac at a good price.  It’s one of the best values you’ll find in the world of cognac.  It’s excellent as a neat sipper… and a fantastic friend of the bartender.
