Initially 15 years &  another 3.5 years… including rebarreling in a new Char No. 2 barrel 15 months of that extra 3.5 years

Classification: straight rye whiskey


Distilled just outside of Montreal, Canada


Proof: 120


Mashbill: 53% rye, 39% corn, 8% malted barley


Nose 👃: Lemon zest. Vanilla pudding. Werther’s Originals. Mint.


Palate 👅: Lemon zest. Werther’s Originals. Black pepper. Granny Smith apple. Glazed donut. Cinnamon. Dry mouthfeel.


Finish 🏁: Lemon zest. Black pepper. Honey.  Vanilla. Very long in length.


This is Canadian whiskey.  It’s extremely good Canadian whiskey.  People love to hate on Canadian whiskey, but they need to try this… to see what good Canadian can be.  This is a rather exciting whiskey.  Put your preconceived notions aside… Canadian can be fantastic.
